Woman with a Man's Head

I took an art class this last quarter in college, and this was my final project. The assignment was to find a portrait, created by the artist of your choice, and attempt to draw yourself in the same situation and the same style. The catch was that we had to do it all from direct observation, so I basically had to piece this picture together ^_^;; meaning I drew the middle ground (me and the shovel) as I saw in through a mirror. Then I found some beach rocks that I kept from a long time ago and used those as the large rocks in the foreground. The background is actually wet toilet paper on the underside of a cake tin (to simulate water) and the sky was the sky outside my window at the time ^_^
This was modeled after Odd Nerdrum's "Man with a Woman's Head"
He is a very talented artist, though his paintings are a bit...er..strange and provocative at times, be warned if you are inspired to look him up ^_^
Done in charcoal (be gentle, I have only done four or so pictures with charcoal), took three days (entire days T_T; wish I were faster)
